Abisko national park
Established: 1909. Location: south of Lake Torneträsk, Kiruna Municipality, Norrbotten County. Area: 7 700 hectares.
Björnlandet national park
Established: 1991, extenden in 2017. Location: in the south of Västerbotten County and Lappland, close to the municipalities of Fredrika and Åsele. Area: 2 300 hectares.
Blå Jungfrun national park
Established: 1926, extended 1988. Location: in the middle of northern Kalmar Sound, Oskarshamn Municipality, Kalmar County. Area: 198 hectares, of which 132 hectares are water.
Dalby Söderskog national park
Established: 1918. Location: approximately 30 kilometres east of Lund in Lund Municipality, Malmöhus County. Area: 36 hectares.
Djurö national park
Established: 1991. Location: in the middle of Lake Vänern, Västra Götaland County. Area: 2 400 hectares.
Fulufjället national park
Established: 2002. Location: Municipality of Älvdalen in northwestern Dalarna County. Area: 38 500 hectares.
Färnebofjärden national park
Established: 1998. Location: South of Gysinge, at the juncture of Västmanland, Dalarna and Gävleborg counties. Area: 10 100 hectares, of which 4 110 hectares are water.
Garphyttan national park
Established: 1909. Location: Just over 15 kilometres west of Örebro close to the slopes of the Kilsbergen mountains in Lekebergs Municipality, Örebro County. Area: 111 hectares.
Gotska Sandön national park
Established: 1909, extended in 1963 and 1988. Location: In the middle of the Baltic Sea 38 kilometres north of Fårö and 85 kilometres south-east of Landsort in Gotland Municipality, Gotland County. Area: 4 490 hectares, of which 842 hectares are water.
Hamra national park
Established: 1909, extended in 2011. Location: in Ljusdal municipality, Gävleborg County. Area: 1 400 hectares.
Haparanda Skärgård national park
Established: 1995. Location: In the archipelago south of Haparanda and Kalix municipalities. Area: 6 000 hectares.
Kosterhavet national park
Established: 2009. Location: Kosterhavet Marine National Park is in northern Bohuslän and can be reached from several towns along the coast. Area: 38 878 hectares, 98 % of the area is water.
Muddus/Muttos national park
Established: 1942, extended in 1984. Location: Between highway 97 and the Stora Lule river south-west of Gällivare and Jokkmokk municipalities, Norrbotten County. Area: 49 340 hectares.
Norra Kvill national park
Established: 1927, extended 1989. Location: Approximately 10 kilometres north of Rumskulla in Vimmerby Municipality, Kalmar County. Area: 114 hectares.
Padjelanta/Badjelánnda national park
Established: 1962. Location: Between the Norwegian border and Sarek national park in Jokkmokk Municipality, Norrbotten County. Area: 198 400 hectares.
Pieljekaise national park
Established: 1909. Location: Approximately 10 kilometres south of Jäkkvikk in Arjeplog Municipality, Norrbotten County. Area: 15 340 hectares.
Sarek national park
Established: 1909. Location: Between the source lakes of the Stora and Lille Lule rivers, fifty kilometres east of the Norwegian border in Jokkmokk Municipality, Norrbotten County. Area: 197 000 hectares.
Skuleskogen national park
Established: 1984, extended in 2009. Location: Approximately 40 kilometres south of Örnsköldsvik in Örnsköldsvik and Kramfors municipalities, Västernorrland County. Area: 3 062 hectares.
Sonfjället national park
Established: 1909, extended 1989. Location: Approximately 15 kilometres south of Hede in Härjedalen Municipality, Jämtland County. Area: 10 300 hectares.
Stenshuvud national park
Established: 1986. Location: Approximately 2.5 kilometres south-east of Kivik village in Simrishamn Municipality, Kristianstad County. Area: 390 hectares.
Stora Sjöfallet/Stuor Muorkke national park
Established: 1909. Location: North and south of the lake system of the Stora Lule river in Jokkmokk and Gällivare municipalities, Norrbotten County. Area: 127 800 hectares.
Store Mosse national park
Established: 1982. Location: Approximately 10 kilometres north-west of Värnamo in Gnosjö, Vaggeryd and Värnamo municipalities, Jönköping County. Area: 7 850 hectares.
Söderåsen nationalpark
Established: 2001. Location: Approximately 30 kilometres east of Helsingborg, Skåne County. Area: 1 625 hectares.
Tiveden national park
Established: 1983, extended in 2017. Location: Between lakes Vänern and Vättern in Laxå and Karlborg municipalities, Örebro and Västra Götaland County. Area: 2 040 hectares.
Tresticklan national park
Established: 1996. Location: In Dals-Ed Municipality in north-western Dalsland, along the Norwegian border. Area: 2 897 hectares.
Tyresta national park
Established: 1993. Location: 20 kilometres south-east of Stockholm in Haninge Municipality, Stockholm County. Area: 2 000 hectares.
Töfsingdalen national park
Established: 1930. Location: Approximately 35 kilometres north of Idre in Älvdalen Municipality, Kopparberg County. Area: 1 615 hectares.
Vadvetjåkka national park
Established: 1920. Location: West of lake Torneträsk near Riksgränsen in Kiruna Municipality, Norrbotten County. Area: 2 630 hectares.
Åsnen national park
Established: 2018. Location: In Tingsryd and Alvesta municipality, about 35 kilometers south of Växjö, Kronobergs county. Area: 1 868 hectares, 75 % of the area is water.
Ängsö national park
Established: 1909, extended in 1988. Location: Approximately 8 kilometres east of Bergshamra in the inner Roslagen archipelago in Norrtälje Municipality, Stockholm County. Area: 190 hectares.
